Bastogne, December 1944. Surrounded by the German army in the heart of the harshest winter of the Ardennes, the paratroopers of the 101st Airborne found themselves isolated, outnumbered, and lacking supplies. Yet the “Screaming Eagles” refused to yield. Under the snow and relentless artillery fire, they held the line heroically. It was here that legend was forged with General McAuliffe’s famous reply to the enemy ultimatum: “Nuts!”.
