Bastogne, December 1944. Surrounded by the German army in the heart of the harshest winter in the Ardennes, the paratroopers of the 101st Airborne found themselves isolated, outnumbered, and lacking essential supplies. Yet the “Screaming Eagles” refused to yield. Under snow and relentless artillery fire, they held the line heroically. It was here that the legend was forged, marked by General McAuliffe’s famous reply to the enemy ultimatum: “Nuts!”
